Universal’s 45 day windows start in 2027 for anyone wondering why this is so quick. I’m surprised they’re not letting this one leg out for awhile

Disney usually gives a minimum of 60 – 90 days before putting a film on PVOD: *Zootopia 2* (released on Nov 27, PVOD on Jan 27, **61 days**) and *Avatar: Fire & Ash* (released on Dec 19, PVOD on March 31), **102 days** after release. Wouldn’t hurt for other studios to follow suit.

This may be the nail in the coffin for a billion if people are willing to pay for it. Let’s see what happens.

Still has to release in Korea and it just released in Japan

I was hoping for mid-late May…, but now, we‘ll have to see how it‘ll do after it’s digital release.

I still think 1B+ is going to happen.

Disney continues to have the longest theatrical window out of the major Hollywood studios. That certainly helped them, considering how many of their films passed 1B+…, Universal should have waited a bit longer.

  5. People willing to pay 20 bucks to watch at home vs 20 bucks to watch in the theater should get their brain checked

  6. PVOD normally doesn’t affect legs but when you are gonna be cutting it close to a billion I feel like they should’ve held out another month

  7. This is normal for Universal. The 7 weekend window starts next year, for this year it’s 5 weekend. Had this been last year, it actually could’ve been a couple days shorter.

I don’t think this is good news for that guy who bet 15k that it’ll hit 1b…
