Kylie Jenner just wrapped up 2 weekends of partying at Coachella … and has returned to a lawsuit from a former housekeeper who claims she was subject to discrimination over religion and national origin.

According to the legal docs, filed last week in Los Angeles by Angelica Vasquez and obtained by TMZ, Angelica claims she started working for Kylie as a housekeeper at her Beverly Hills residence on September 10, 2024, and then was moved to her Hidden Hills residence one week later, where she says she reported to a woman named Elsi and head housekeeper Patsy.

Angelica claims she was "treated with hostility and exclusion" as soon as she began her employment and was "subjected to severe and pervasive harassment" by Patsy, Elsi, and other staff members. Specifically, she alleges she was "belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers" due to her race, national origin, and religious beliefs.

Angelica, who says she is Salvadoran and Catholic, claims she was told "Catholics are horrible people" and was mocked or intimidated about her immigration status. She also claims comments were made to her that alluded to people of her background being deported from America.

In addition to the alleged bullying, Angelica claims she was assigned the worst tasks, purposely excluded from the housekeeping team, and had fingers snapped at her and was shouted at routinely. She even claims a supervisor threw hangers at her while reprimanding her on one occasion after she complained about the treatment.

Angelica alleges she developed anxiety and "symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder" due to the working conditions, which got her bullied further …. and says she eventually had to resign in August 2025 when she says her complaints went unaddressed.

  1. I’m sure she hates all poors equally but she had to call her something and didn’t have the vocabulary to express herself.

  2. If you read the article it states that the housekeeper had issues with the other house keepers and not Kylie herself.

I don’t really know what to make of this tbh.

  3. This isnt directly about Kylie, rather the other house keepers but the unpaid wages would be at the fault of Kylie?

  4. fuck the racism, no place in our community for that

But the stuff about it Catholics being horrible people… we let’s just say I grew up in a Catholic family and we were not allowed to question shit lest be threatend with hell (not lying) and made to feel ashamed of ourselves and beg god for forgiveness at like 6 years old… 6 years old they had me chanting “por mi culpa, por mi culpa, por mi propia culpa” … that plus all the predators and pedophile priests… yeah, glad I got out of that

edit: Catholic cult shamed my sister for having a miscarriage and told me I’m going to hell for being gay. If getting downvoted means I don’t have to take y’all’s shit than downvote away, my only regret is that I couldn’t bring my sister with me

But the article doesn’t say that Kylie was sued, it said that she sued that other housekeepers. I hope she wins, this sounds awful

Wow, did they sex traffick her and embezzle all her money because they did me and I don’t even think they gave me a t-shirt.

Kylie wasn’t specifically mentioned in this lawsuit, just the housekeeping team and assistants, which like okay, but she doesn’t like being around the poors at all huh?

How are these people comfortable having a whole team of people in their house that they don’t speak with? And why is such despicable behaviour permissible? It comes from the top.

  8. That poor woman. These allegations aren’t directed at Kylie in particular, but I’m curious how aware she was of what was going on. At the end of the day, it is her home. Even if she wasn’t a witness, there are cameras everywhere.

Weird way to word the title. I understand KJ is being sued because she’s the employer & ignored clear discrimination in workplace, but it’s implying like she was personally responsible, but in the article it was the other staff, so yeah. But not surprised she let this shit slide n withheld wages from the victim, kinda on brand.

edit: jfc I’m just making a trivial comment about a click bait title

how is there such a large amount of housekeepers that the head of housekeeping is Angelica’s skip manager?

I can understand there being team of support staff at the houses (housekeeper, chef, nanny, personal assistant), but so many housekeepers that her manager has a manager, and they all do the same thing?

  11. Law firms cater to these type of people when they have a potential defendant with deep pockets
