This project seemed dead for a while. The first one was massive but that was peak Smith. Michael B Jordan being a part of it sounds pretty appealing especially after his Oscar win.
Maybe a 2028 release date to add on to their recent slate that consists of Evil Dead Wrath, Final Destination 7, Hello Kitty, The Flood, Gladys, and most likely Wonka 2.

It’s astonishing to make this amazing novel. Adapt everything except for the ending it’s known for. And then make another one, that continues the story, once again leaving out the one thing that makes it a classic.

How about instead of a sequel we don’t need, let’s redo the original with Nic Cage hunting vampires in 1970’s LA. We’d all be better off
