According to [The Hollywood Reporter](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/elden-ring-movie-cast-1236569064/), the budget is over $100 million, making it the most expensive A24 movie yet.
This is going to be A24’s biggest movie yet at the box office
Still so bizarre that A24 is doing this, but ey. They and Garland probably adore the IP enough to maintain it’s heart. Best of luck to them!
I think the chances of this film underwhelming due to Alex Garlands direction is likely.
Over $100 million budget is a pretty risky move. Elden ring is a popular video game, but turning it into a movie that will attract enough viewers to be profitable will be hard.
