Ah, well… Not all horror movies can be winners, some will have a regular C+ for the genre

when is the last time blumhouse had a positively received film outside a sequel just stinker after stinker although obsession seems promising

  3. Compared to Lee Cronin’s films, that’s below *Evil Dead Rise* (B).

And even though they are different in tone, well… compared to the *Mummy* films:

    – *The Mummy (1999):* B

    – *The Mummy Returns (2001):* A–

    – *The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008):* B–

    – *The Mummy (2017):* B–

Higher than expected for The Mummy tbh. Hope Lee Cronin keeps getting work, I really like his style

Lower then expected that I predicted for a B- CinemaScore which is not as bad for a horror film on that grade range

    Another modern Blumhouse classic

I miss the good ole days of Sinister, Insidious, Occulus, Upgrade, The Purge: Anarchy, Happy Death Day, Hush and Split.
