Budget?
People have pointed out that despite the negative narrative, that this film is coming out ahead of romcoms like Anyone But You.
I looked it up and even though it was slightly ahead on the weekend, ABY performed consistently, earning 2-3 million a day over the next 100 days, whereas Tuscany is already losing steam and it’s outlook internationally is looking dire.
Despite all the Redditors salivating for a âbombâ âunderperforming â narrative just because they donât like this genre this one is likely to recover budget and make it back 2.5x to enter profits IN theatrical! That despite having the studio that hates their women products the most. No stars, no budget , misplaced ad spending (basketball games? Seriously ? And no book tok no book tube no skincare channels) bad release date while another female oriented product of sake studio plus the drama are still playing. Plus minimal international roll out.
