Now you see why I made that podcast?; it had to do with the box office, since lately horror movies have lost their ability to withstand bad reviews, and we see that case here even with Lee Cronin.

Look, I’ve got a confession to make. Back in 2020, I was mad at Blumhouse, so I visited a Haitian witch doctor and put a curse on them. I was just screwing around, I didn’t think it would actually work.
Flash forward to 2026, and almost every one of their films has bombed. I mean, I was mad, sure, but now I’m starting to feel a little guilty. I wanted the curse to work in theory… just not this well.
I tried to track down the witch doctor to lift the curse, but I can’t get in touch with him. He moved. All I remember is the curse involved either 36 chickens or 63… I can’t recall which, but he was very clear the number had to be exact.

This is how I find out this movies out already.
I’m a horror fan but the reason I don’t intend on watching this is If I’m gonna watch a mummy movie, it’s going to be the universal franchise with Brendan Fraser which already has an upcoming film.
If I’m going to watch a movie that looks exactly like evil dead, I’m going to watch an evil dead movie which has two upcoming films. I’d rather just wait for those films.
