Film unispirato.

A un certo punto sembra che non avessero abbastanza soldi per pagare Lawrence Fishburne e lentamente la sceneggiatura per far entrare il personaggio di Jon Bernthal, that badically dies the same thing, just in a Jon Bernthal way.

Haven’t seen the movie. I don’t remember even seeing anything about it. Is he a professional by the end?

I remember the review that said ” The lack of personality by Malek forces the audience to consider plot ,which is utter nonsense”.
Malek was given the Oscar for playing one of the greatest singers ever but he ain’t a superstar himself.

Not bad for a remake.

I enjoyed this movie. I don’t know how it compares to the original, though, but it starring Rami Malek had me sold on it
The scene where he had trapped that woman (I forget what her role was) and made her breathe in pollen was brutal, yet simple compared to the other traps he had set up. I really liked it.

An odd role for Malek to take and a bland movie. Had some good moments but the end was just dumb and the overall plot boring.
It tried to be Taken If Liam Neeson Was A Nerd. It failed.

Never heard of this movie in my life

It flew so close to Mr Robot that it only reminded us how much better that was than this.

Bombed?

Honestly for a low-scale action thriller in this day and age this is a solid number

Is bombed accurate? That seems like a fine number for a movie that probably would’ve been released straight to streaming. I’m sure this will make bank with dads for the next decade

A 60M budget movie grossed 131M and is considered a bomb? Dang.
and nearly 100m isn’t bomb in my opinion. why do some of you keep ignoring the state of post covid / streaming boxoffice? this wasn’t expected to be a blockbuster. they probably hoped for 200 maybe max. this was more underwhelming boxoffice vs bomb.
between VOD and streaming value… especially with it being an audience pleaser… it’s gonna make it’s money back and then some.

I kinda liked it and it was nice to see Rami Malek in a starring role here. Honestly could’ve bombed even worse given the release date and a lot of competition in April.

I was too busy watching a movie that actually looked unique and interesting (Drop)

Should have been a streaming movie. Knew after the first trailer came out this would not do well
