I know this is essentially an adaptation of the Bible, but man am I ITCHING for a unique, interesting, deep, and thought-provoking religous/Christian film to be made nowadays.

I just feel like *God’s Not Dead* created a sort-of trend of mediocre, shallow Christian films that don’t show the profound news of life and Christianity, and /or the truth of it.

Nothing against this movie though, I haven’t watched it, and considering it’s essentially an animated movie on the Gospel and not using its’ own plot/characters, I’d say it’s safe from my criticism above.

I just saw this and these thoughts happened to pop into my head.
