  1. Went to a 6:45 movie last Saturday, it didn’t start until 7:20 because of ads and trailers. So annoying.

  2. But aren’t ticket prices up because studios demand up to 80 percent of the ticket price? Kind of hard for theaters to make money on tickets with those margins.

    ***YES.*** For the love of God, yes. I mean, I love AMC, but I fucking *despise* how many damn ads they play before the show starts, usually half an hour late. Regal’s somehow even worse. Unsure about Cinemark.

    Cheaper tickets are a must. It should not be costing $55-$65 for two people. For an evening out at the movies. Ridiculous.
