I actually think this moron believes this since he’s been a massively incompetent studio head for 20 years now.

Ironic that they call themselves a well capitalized company when they can’t even turn a profit and will be saddled with 80B in debt.

More lies to continue the grift. Nothing more.

  3. To the actors and directors and producers who signed this, first off, thanks for doing that, it was brave.

Second, if you want to really stop this, sign a new petition saying you will refuse to work with Paramount WB conglomerate in the future. It may cut down on some jobs you get, but rest assured, Netflix will hire you.

  4. A reminder Paramount created a blacklist of actors and actresses who’ve been supportive for Palestine and against Israel.

  5. For those who don’t see that this will lead to a monopoly all you have to do is look to comic books.

Did DC and Marvel comic books crossover? Yes.

Are the current mandate of both DC under WB, and Marvel, under Disney, to follow the comic books. Also yes.

That means that in the near future, Disney and the conglomerate that is Paramount and WB will form some kind of partnership through the comics division to make crossover adaptations. And then, that would be all movies made under one roof. It’s their plan.

  6. Uh huh. Suuure they will, fuckface.

You want creatives back on your side? Kill this stupid deal and spend all that cash on building Paramount back up organically.

“More avenues” because Netflix gets $3b for free and I assume he’s bloviating that they could jump in. Sure.

A merger will create more avenues for work…LOL. Yeah I’m sure there’s gonna be so many avenues when you’re fire thousands of people for “redundancies”.

Dude just want to burn out two studios with one deal. If this deal does go through, their demise is certain.

He absolutely didn’t need to respond. They’re gonna take his money when it’s all said and done and he will be vindicated.

  11. Now they’re not only going to keep making just as many films as Paramount + WBD did before the merger, they’re going to be making MORE movies?

    C’mon.

The baldfaced lying which has been normalized by a completely uncritical news media is such a depressing reality of the modern world.

I really doubt that this deal will be blocked with how this country has been going, but I’d be happy if it did. They really should be putting more money into cyber security tho, that avatar movie got fully leaked lol

  13. Consolidation of companies always leads to more compe—oh wait no that’s the opposite of the truth.

  14. Unless the movies are about Trump being Epstein’s BFF, LGBTQ+ people, black people, immigrants, etc.

  15. 30 movies a year in theater to definitely not eat into each others theatrical runs, so many opportunities guys!
