$60M final potentially. This is a VERY positive sign for the box office for a film that could have easily done < $15M in 2022.

[Right on target](https://www.reddit.com/r/boxoffice/s/LKMkjC49eV). Great hold for the weekend. And this hold is with previews included so with next week also being light on releases this probably sees a decrease in the 30% range next weekend as well. Maybe mid 30s.

At $30.85MM, The Drama is already A24’s 10th highest-grossing movie domestic

I guess, we’re eating good here in 2026. I have to say this year is looking for Mid-Budget movies, so far until the summer.

Zendaya is one of the few genuine draws under 40 confirmed. If they ever put her in a straight-up romcom it will make $$$ (that’s not meant as a slight against The Drama and Challengers, I loved both films)

Amazing. The Drama is causing a dramatic box office run and we love to see it.
50M-60M+ domestic final seems doable.
Overall, one of the most successful A24 films ever!

Should finish around $50M DOM mark which is pretty impressive for A24

This doing better than Challengers was not on my bingo card at all, but hey it should serve as a good note to studios that “hey, cast an equally well known (and hot) actor opposite Zendaya if you plan on making a profit”. Also random side-note, after finally getting around seeing this last night, I got to say this is my favorite Zendaya performance in a film so far (even more than Challengers, I fully believed her in this role and can see she is truly growing as an actor).

Great, now younger folks driving these numbers please shut the fuck up during movies and get off your phones….this was the worst theater experience I’ve had in recent memory all thanks to 18-25 year old women treating a theater like a hangout.
