I think it’s smart and well made, but definitely not a crowd pleaser. Pretty minimal on scares, and there’s only a few of the “snuff films” in the movie. So if you’re just showing up for torture/gore porn, it’s going to underdeliver.
Charlie XCX is only in two scenes of the movie (both of which were clearly reshoots), so her fanbase is also probably contributing to low day-one walkout scores.
