Highest grossing film series and franchises in Japan 🇯🇵

To give and idea and help with comparisons Detective Conan’s 156 billion yen is currently equivalent to about 1 billion dollars, but with the exchange rates of before covid it would have been over $1.4 billion

I also add that all franchises are updated up until last weekend, with the exception of Doraemon’s most recent movie who will be added after the end of its run

I mentioned this in past, but crazy how we didn’t get more sub discussion re: Demon Slayer sequel crossing 40 billion yen.

Absolutely historic run and testatment of popularity and IP strength. At this rate we’ll never get DVD release. 😎
