Primal Fear was released 30 years ago this week. The $30 million legal thriller starring Richard Gere grossed $56.1 million domestic and $102.6 million worldwide and received positive reviews from critics, with Edward Norton earning a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nomination for his film debut.

Watched this recently and it still holds up. Hadn’t seen it in maybe 10-15 years. I first saw this in the late 90s on TV at a very young age and I’ve been following Norton’s career ever since. I love it when you watch older films and you spot actors who went on to do other great stuff, like Andre Braugher.

Great film.
