      At least Zootopia isn’t that close to the black hole Minecraft created like Lilo and Stitch was. Still affected, but it wasn’t like 424.8 like I thought

      That’s not a great line-up. Zootopia 2 is by far the best of the three, and even that is an okay movie.

      Brought this up in previous threads but I’ll bring it up again, 2007 had a similar race.

      Spider-Man 3: $336.5M

      Shrek the Third: $322.7M

      Transformers: $319.2M

      Pirates 3: $309.4M

      Didn’t think that no movie would hit even $450m domestically in 2025, especially when every year since 2017 has achieved a $600m grosser (excluding 2020):

      * 2017 – The Last Jedi ($620m)
      * 2018 – Infinity War ($678m), Black Panther ($700m), Incredibles 2 ($608m)
      * 2019 – Endgame ($858m)
      * 2021 – No Way Home ($814m)
      * 2022 – Top Gun: Maverick ($718m), Avatar 2 ($684m)
      * 2023 – Barbie ($636m)
      * 2024 – Inside Out 2 ($652m), Deadpool & Wolverine ($636m)

      Proud that Disney needed Zootopia 2 to top Minecraft as the highest grossing film of 2025 domestically after Lilo & Stitch fell short of catching up Minecraft until Zootopia 2 manage to do so to dethrone Minecraft which took 3 months to do so

      Man the blockbusters in 2025 kinda dissappinted on the domestic front, 428mil being the highest isn’t the best. I really thought Avatar or Zootopia would make 500mil atleast

      Crazy that Zootopia had mid numbers domestically and still ended up as one of the highest grossing movies of all time.

      Very impressive that we got four movies make over $400M domestic (Avatar: Fire & Ash ended up with $404M).
