    Zootopia 2 has ended its domestic run with $428,130,160 after 18 weeks, becoming the highest grossing 2025 film domestically.

      I think 2026 will end with at least four movies beating Zootopia 2’s domestic total (The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Toy Story 5, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and Avengers: Doomsday)

      Actually ended up being pretty close for that top domestic spot. It only edged out the Minecraft movie by like 4 million.

      great run. watched on a plane 2 weeks ago. good in that setting, can’t say i missed much in the theaters lol

      Zootopia 3 will definitely make $2B if that China run is any indication.

      Fantastic run overall. $428M domestic with that kind of worldwide split is wild. Serious overseas lifting.

      That figure alone would have been crazy for this movie.

      To think that even with 1.441B, it would have been enough for the TOP 10 highest grossing animated movies of all time:

      1. Ne Zha 2 – 2.22B

      2. Inside Out 2 – 1.7B

      3. The Lion King – 1.66B

      4. Frozen II – 1.45B

      5. ZOOTOPIA 2 – 1.44B

      6. The Super Mario Bros. Movie – 1.36B

      7. Frozen – 1.28B

      8. Incredibles 2 – 1.24B

      9. Minions – 1.15B

      10. Toy Story 4 – 1.07B

      This movie just kept holding and holding after the holidays started. The late legs were so fun to track, when it was initially going to finish sub 400M but ended up beating Minecraft at the end.

      Phenomenal run, especially overseas. I don’t see any animated film worldwide outgrossing zootopia INT anytime soon lol.

      Zootopia 2 did legendary numbers. It surpassed Avatar 2 as the most watched Hollywood movie of the decade globally!
