Online one of the critics I follow liked it, but I think their reviews would still translate to fresh. They’ve all been arguing with fans all day about what they had to say. I hate stans. I also really hate the Rotten Tomatoes system. That score is extra deceptive when people don’t read the actual reviews. Metacritic seems better for communicating what the reviews actually say.

Edit: spelling, but also downvote me all you want. Turning thoughtful reviews into a binary sucks and leads to a lot of, “wait, that movie wasn’t a 91 I don’t get it!”

Watched a review that marked it as fresh but barely and their reasoning makes me think that’ll be a common sentiment—interesting premise, under explored but acted very well with actors people love, with a disappointing ending. A 6-7 with a cult classic edge for its, uh, daring premise
