This movie is pretty mid. Jennifer Connelly looked great tho
A review by Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert. Siskel liked the film. Ebert hated it and criticized Siskel for praising the film: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SsuZpxmZ00](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SsuZpxmZ00)
This was supposed to open in 1990, but Universal lost faith and quietly opened it in March ’91. At the time, Hughes’ “Home Alone” was still in the weekly top-10, and no-one in the press thought this flop would count against him.
How many Hughes’ films star college-age characters? This one does. It’s also “The Breakfast Club” meets “Home Alone,” a pretty wild mashup when you think about it.
Why did Hughes disown the film?
I wonder where is Frank Whaley nowadays
Jennifer Connelly: The Movie.
