A 33% second weekend drop for a major studio tentpole?
In this economy?
A 33% drop for an $80M or higher opener is insane considering most times a film opened with that much tend to drop harshly either due to front loading or getting kneecapped by day and date.
Very impressive drop and hold despite its actual numbers a bit lower then expected
It should hold well and coexist with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie when it takes over the PLFs from PHM

I thought it would open 55M OW, but it ended up doing it in its second weekend itself
300M+ locked and loaded, it will hold very well next weekend given that it only dropped 19% from last sunday
