And luckily the public is tired of superheroes and Marvel (yes, that was also said about Spider-Man). I imagine the next one will be Avengers, the teasers have already reached that goal together.

that is insane amount of views for a movie trailer that just came out! I don’t think any of the avatar movies even came close to that

The public may get tired of superheroes but Spider-Man is in a league of his own.

Big numbers but weird metric bc it’s impossible to distinguish what counts as an actual “view” nowadays. Hype is there regardless though.

When the trailer first dropped, I saw someone ask “who wants to see another Spider-Man movie.” When it broke the first record, I made a point to make fun of that comment. Now I *really* want to know how that person feels.

Tom’s Spider-Man is one of the most popular superhero castings ever

No way in hell is this grossing less than Far From Home’s 1.132 billion cume from 2019.

I really thought this movie would suffer from being a street-level film after the epic dimension-hopping climax of the last one, but I was wrong. I hope the Hulk is in this and not just Banner, though.

How are these views being calculated?

I still think it would have hit harder with the lyrics to “New York, I Love You.” Any word on why that was changed? Regardless, great start for Sony – hopefully, this will be a much needed $1B.

Lies. I was told the MCU is dying and Doomsday (which will likely have a Spider-Man in it and be set up or have a trailer attached with BND) needs to run away from Dune

1.1 billion is also the same amount Spider-Man’s first billion dollar movie earned!

Studios including those incredibly fake social media “views” in these official counts is the most shameless thing ever

Spidey’s motion is just different gravy. Can see it doing 200 mil plus OW at this rate.

Doomsday making 1 billion views for its four teasers combined isn’t nearly as impressive no more I see
