The local comedy Sportsko srce (Sport Heart) claims the top spot with 12.2M RSD ($119k), dethroning Svadba after six weeks. It marks the 4th highest opening of the year so far.
The story follows Maja, a young woman who wants to introduce her sophisticated fiancé, Pavle, to her father, Macura, the charismatic owner of a traditional roasted meat shop in Zemun. The plot kicks off during a family lunch, where Maja attempts to “smooth” her father’s rough edges in order to impress her future husband.

HOLDOVERS
GOAT was the standout among holdovers this week, posting an impressive +10.9% increase week over week. Hoppers was not far behind, with a modest drop of just -17.7% (though it should be noted that the decline would appear steeper if Film Center Serbia included previews in its opening week).
Meanwhile, Wuthering Heights and the two local holdovers recorded the largest drops. Svadba lost half of its screens and finally relinquished the top position after a six-week run, but it still maintains a higher per-theater average than newcomer Sportsko srce.
