I just don’t understand why they decided to open this one on the same date as PHM lol
Edit: It hasn’t open in many countries yet so it’s not a disaster. Where I live (Germany) it’s only releasing in April.

In what territories? It’s a slower roll-out over there right?

I still think this movie will make decent money when it’s out of theaters, in streaming and Blu-ray.

It’s original release date in US was I think April 10th, I’m guessing some international places kept that date. I wonder why they moved it up in US.

Because this was pushed forward certain sites like IMDB didnt update their release date info very well but these two countries already have the movie out as of last week – UK (20 March) and Australia (19 March).

I’m sure it will eventually make money but I think this release is a misfire. I saw it Friday, it’s not as good as the original. Also it’s been way too long to make a sequel for it. The original is a fun movie but hardly a cult classic with fans waiting years and years on a sequel.

Project Hail Mary to Ready or Not

should have released in January

Was a mistake idea to release it on the same day as Project Hail Mary instead of April 10th where Mario Galaxy would have stayed in the top while Ready Or Not 2 would have done better

It will break even with more overseas releasing. The budget is only $14M. Should do fine

Wouldn’t be shocked if it’s sub 1m in Australia despite having an Australian lead.
