This is 4 hours long. It’s got 2nd best screen in my cinema in UK.

Can someone tell me why it’s so popular? I know there was the first part and that it was pretty good.

The movie is Part 2 or “sequel” to the original movie.
The Original Dhurandhar was one of the biggest Hindi speaking movies of all time. The movie was what has been missing in Bollywood for years and what the South of India Cinema scene has been producing for many years and the biggest hits have been produced worldwide for India expect outside a few Hindi movies over the last 10 years in South India cinema.
So the original came out in December holidays and with that and huge word of mouth it become a worldwide smash.
Now with Eid holidays and other major holy holidays in India and with the hype and love of the first part this was ready to explode worldwide at the box office
I watched the first one and it was 11/10 for me and loved it 🩷, the sequel is a great sequel and doesn’t disappoint but it’s a 9/10 for me falling short of the original but this movie is still amazing.
This movie will likely be top 3 Indian movie at the box office all time worldwide.
Don’t forgot India has many languages and movies industries but Bollywood is the most known worldwide but South Indian cinema been the best for the last 10-12 years or so in quality and box office returns.
I hope that answers any questions to and sorry for the long post lol the movie is 4+ hours with an intermission and 2 very important post credits scenes (they add too the overall story and not really setting up a another movie)
