A Brand New Day starts now.

Watch the official trailer for #SpiderManBrandNewDay – exclusively in theatres July 31.

After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he's devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.

  1. If Peter is really getting organic webbings (even if its just a phase in the movie), I wonder if he will bring up Tobey. Since he fought alongside him and discovered that Organic webbings are a thing.

I do have to mention that some VFX shots here look on the meh side. When he pulls his mask down, the suit on the backside of his neck just move upwards to connect with the mask. Also that shot with MJ and Peter at night has a very clear blue screen that is a little jarring.

“I’m just a neighbor from across the hall”

    “friendly neighbor”

That was awesome! 1 billion seems locked

That shot inside the mask was stunning

Scorpion Appears! I can’t place names on the other villains who appear

If they are actually going with the Werespider story line and do the body horror justice, that could draw in some horror fans

That shot near end of Peter’s eyes turning black was chilling

  4. So either this is a misdirection or MJ’s role isn’t as limited as it was rumoured. Also not showing Sadie’s face is certainly a choice.

  5. Man-Spider story with the Punisher and a bunch of other crazy stuff happening at the same time? I feel like I’m watching the 90’s cartoon again.

Also, Sadie Sink’s character is clearly the mystery box element of the move.

  6. It seems like a special film, It has the depth that Spider-Man should always have and beautiful direction. Billion dollars coming soon.

So we have an unidentified character who wears a green coat with a yellow hood and seemingly has telepathy. I wonder who that could be… Marvel you are not slick

  8. And I’ve seen some people say this isn’t making well over a billion 😭🥀💀 this looks amazing

  9. It’ll be interesting to see if people are interested in watching what is effectively yet another Spider-Man origin story

  10. Conceptually looks like it could easily be the best of the Holland films, a lot going on here but seems like it will manage to coalesce if the landing sticks.

Definitely a bit all over the place visually. Green-screen/stylised VFX shots look very obvious, but everything else actually looks a lot better than the Watts films. The scene with Frank and the tank actually has nice contrast, also I’m glad we’ve already established this isn’t going to be another “Mr. Stark” type relationship. Seems like the two characters will actually have friction.

No matter what this is probably make a billion and a half dollars though.

Great trailer. Subtle shades of Spider-Man 2 (2004). Hope savage hulk makes an appearance. Come on spidey, save us from the sub-300 million overseas grossing superhero movies.

  12. Who is the Lawrence Fishburne sounding motherfucker in the trailer?

    This looks great.

I’m loving how personal this film seems to be feels much like the raimi movies and if I’m being honest that’s the spiderman stories I love the most. Very excited.

  14. Damn i highkey wish this version of spiderman wasnt connected to the MCU so it can just use its main cast in strictly spiderman stories.

If a SAG strike happens by June 30/early July, I wonder if this movie would get delayed to December.

  16. Call me a hater but the CGI is so incomplete in so some shots it looks like a fan film, hope they fix it before release

  17. It’s finally here! Another billion incoming for Spidey. This looks solid and definitely feels the most grounded of the Holland films. CGI is a bit rough at times, why are the MCU Spidey films so ugly compared to TASM.
