I knew this would happen. When I peaked in a Dolby showing today it seemed relatively full. They didn’t even have the boxes for the keychains today before that showing

Man I’m so happy for Pixar. Can’t wait to finally watch the movie tomorrow as well.

LFG! This is a well needed win, hope it continues throughout the oncoming weeks.

Very impressive for its tracking that’s in the right range that I projected that it would open in that range

Whats the last film to have a jump like that? Seem pretty rare Wom seems ultra strong maybe 30-35% hold next weekend

I’m happy for it. There was a decent amount of people at the 12:30 showing I attended today. This one is fun and deserving of some success.

This is the first packed showing I’ve been to this year. Everyone had a great time, despite the theater messing up the audio completely. Lots of laughs and the occasional discreet sniffle. Ironically it reminded me why I don’t like crowded screenings. People can be very disrespectful, someone even had their flash on during the first few minutes! Glad for Hoppers though 😅

Hoppers journey to $500m has begun

A 90% Saturday jump is huge. Feels like WOM could be kicking in. Wouldn’t be surprised if it clears $45M and ends up having a pretty solid run.

INSANE. The WOM is already kicking in.
For comparison, other Sat jumps for Feb/March animated releases:
GOAT: 67% (with Valentine’s Day!)
KFP4: 17.5%
Onward: 36.5%
HTTYD 3: 28.3%
Zootopia (1): 62.2%
Hoppers has blown all of these comparisons out of the water if it makes 19m on Sat.

Just got back from it. Probably the most unhinged thing Pixar has ever put out in the best way possible.

$50 million?

(I know it’s extremely unlikely)
