Premiering right next to Del Toro’s Frankenstein (three months vs one year or so) couldn’t have helped.

Oh shit is it going for <$10M? I could see it going as low as $6M with those previews, holy hell

Jessie Buckley having a huge flop the week before she wins an Oscar lol.

This was a movie that would live or die based on reviews. I’m not shocked the movie is polarizing but…
Weekend over/under of $8 million and immediate cult status?

Christian Bale needs Heat 2 to save him so bad
His post covid run is disastrous. Horrendous choices, I dont think Madden is gonna save him either. Looks like that’s just straight to Amazon prime lol. Speaks to its quality I’m sure. First teaser looked terrible
I say all of this as someone who would say he is my favorite actor

Nothing on the bride, indeed

I really liked it, but it’s not going to be popular with mainstream audiences.
This is a bummer because the movie is actually really cool. There is still a lot more good in it than the reviews make it out to be. The Bonnie & Clyde sort of story was fun, and the whole futuristic 1930’s steampunk city design was cool as well.
Way too quirky for the general audience to care about unfortunately, trailers gave off this vibe too

It was definitely a strange movie but I liked it. Very surprised they gave that script such a high budget though. Saw it in IMAX last night and there were maybe 15 people in the theater. Bummer.

Really didn’t think it was possible for it to go below $1M holy shit, did it have negative walkups or what

They deserve it well for being cowards and inept at marketing. The Bride? Whose bride? Name Frankenstein’s monster, you idiots.

This bride is clearly getting divorced from audiences!
Frankenstein: Folie a Deux

Oh there comes the Bride
Oof, I was hoping it could at least reach double digits ($10M), but it’s not looking likely now
Holy shit, this pretty much guarantees a sub $10 million OW.
WB was lucky *Wuthering Heights* succeeded, cause this is gonna flop big time.
“*Audiences left this Bride at the altar!*”

…wait, he’s NOT dead?!
