It’s too late people have been conditioned to wait and see these type of movies on streaming.

Much like how Wuthering Heights almost went to Netflix, which coincidentally released alongside Crime 101.

  3. Pretty sure this was originally going to be a Netflix movie with Pedro Pascal initially attached in Ruffalo’s role but he dropped out to do Fantastic Four.

  4. A movie called Crime 101 could only be and would have been a hit on Netflix. They read the room all wrong.

  5. They were right to. Went tonight at the main movie theater in my area. Not an empty seat in the house, and we all loved it. With great word of mouth, this thing can leg it to break even.

  6. Good call on their part. It’s always good to have more movies, especially adult-skewing ones in theaters, and will probably do good on streaming anyways (look at Accountant 2)
