EmpireCity, FlatLannister, and ViewerAnon are all saying the same thing and expect this to be a breakout.

Once again it seems like online vibes does not match the sentiment from real people.

And is the boycott of not going to see her just to post about it on social media, or what’s going on? 😂

Damn, that would be insane

This is easily my most anticipated movie of the year! I love the look of everything we’ve seen so far. Sidney is back as the main, we see her family/new life. Kevin Williamson is at the helm. He’s also credited as the main writer of this entry too. For some reason everything about this is clicking for me and as fan since I seen the original when I was 11 this is the one I’m most excited to see theatrically (seen them since Scream 3 at the theater). When I look around at ticket sales etc I’m clearly not alone.
Hoping this can reach a franchise high for the opening weekend box office and be a huge hit for Paramount/Spyglass.

when I saw people threatening to boycott on Twitter I knew it wasn’t gonna change anything towards the performance of this film lol with all due respect Melissa Barrera is like a D list actor so general audiences don’t even know who she is or care if she’s in any of the future installments

Interesting.
Anecdotally, there have been a couple times in the theater for me where the trailer for it came on and it got a much larger reaction and buzz from the audience than I would have expected. Guess we’ll see what happens.

I really wonder what people are seeing here for such a rush in sales.
Everything around this movie just screams bang average. From the plot to the marketing.

Remember when Scream 4 was projected to open above $30 million, only to debut at $18.6 million

I really liked the last 2 a lot, so I’m a little disappointed that’s not really being continued. But still very much looking forward to this. These movies have been on fire as of late.
