If this happens, it speaks to where the board believes the most money can be made.

For them, the movie business might only exist now for the sake of creating properties to use in the theme parks.

If i had a nickel for every time Bob Iger stepped down as Disney CEO and got replaced with the guy that ran the parks at that point in time, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice

  3. So any guess on why Disney is picking another theme park guy as the next CEO instead of someone from film or television? I did hear that this guy is at least somewhat better than Chapek, but still.

They really played in Dana Walden’s face. The job was never gonna be hers. But I guess it was good PR that they had a man and a woman in the running.

I can’t wait for: “Josh sucks!! Bring back Iger!!” To be said by the people who are currently saying “Iger sucks!! Bring back Chapek!!” (I actually did see this.) and during that “Chapek sucks!! Bring back Iger!!” And that’s when I first noticed it because they said “Iger sucks!! Bring back Eisner!!” And also saw some “Eisner sucks too!”

Disney fans are an interesting folk. As one, I’m sorry
