Zootopia 2 grossed a fantastic $0.54M on Tuesday. Up +13% from yesterday and +6% from last week as the Winter vacations are starting to really boost the daily grosses.
Pre-sales for tomorrow with Maoyan and Tao projecting another increase from today to $0.56-0.60M. In my opinion potentialy even a bit conservative and i could easily see it go past $0.60M
Very very early weekend projections at $3.2-4.1M. Even the low end of that would be great. The high end would obviously be fantastic and an increase from last week.

Zootopia 2 hits $625.74M meaning its now just $6.26M away from Endgames $ gross with 20 days to go till the Spring Festival.
It has to make $0.31M per day from here on out to surpass Endgame by February 17th.

Preliminary Spring Festival 2026 Lineup:
With the Spring Festival now less than 3 weeks away and the confirmation of Per Aspera Ad Astra today most movies have now been scheduled.
Pegasus 3 is gonna be releasing in Spring Festival. The sequel to Pegasus 2 which made $400M+ in the Spring Festival 2 years ago. Its only natural this movie will target the same Holidays and not settle for a lesser date. This is by all acounts the big favorite this year.
Zhang Yimou returns to the Holiday season after his successfull Article 20($340M) in 2024 and Full River Red($670M+) in 2023 with Silent Awakening. A National Security-Themed movie. While unlikely to challenge for the victory this movie has a decent shot at taking 2nd place.
Boonie Bears franchise as has been the case for the last 12 years returns to the Spring Festival with Boonie Bears: The Hidden Protector. The new entry in the $1B+ franchise will look to improve on last years $118M and push the franchise back closer if not over the $200M mark it surpassed in 2024 and 2023.
Blades of the Guardians starring Wu Jing and Jet Li meanwhile will try to revive the popularity of the martual arts genre and aim to improve upon the result and especialy reception of last years Condor Heroes which failed to break $100M. This and Boonie Bears will in all likelyhood fight for 3rd place.
And lastly Per Aspera Ad Astra, the latest movie to be confirmed and the only Sci-Fi blockbuster will try to make itself stand out with cool visuals and unique theme. However its very likely this ends up being the cannon fodder of the lineup.

Panda Plan 2 or as of today Panda Plan 2: Tribal Adventures will be aiming to grab family audiences as one of the comedies this year. The first one barelly did over $40M in the 2024 National Day Holidays. This with the help of the bigger Holidays will look to improve on that however its likely that this movie at best will aim for 5th ahead of **Per Aspera Ad Astra
