Great animation and some fun moments, as well as a heartwarming ending, but the movie moves too fast with a lot of stuff happening at once, and the jokes are kinda annoying.

It played liked Captain Underpants where it does well domestically but overseas did less due to the books not appealing to overseas fans although I enjoyed it a bit with its animation style comparable to Captain Underpants although a January release date should have moved to a better date like in the Spring which would have done a bit well depending on its hold against Snow White and A Minecraft Movie. The summer release similar to what Captain Underpants debuted would have changed dates with The Bad Guys 2 and Gabbys Dollhouse Movie from DreamWorks that could be similar to the original release date of last year
