Oh my goodness… it went lower then expected because of winter storms that happened on the weekend

Clearly it was only the weather and not the terrible reviews…

You can see how the storm affected Sunday. At least here in DFW, Texas, it was generally drivable Saturday, but we got a ton of sleet overnight and it’s now mostly undrivable outside the highways, which have had some clearing and sanding, and it won’t clear up until Tuesday. Expect pretty much every film to have dogshit Sundays.

The fact it even managed to open above 10M is crazy. I thought 10M was what it was gonna make its whole run when I saw the first trailer.

We came prepared with Burt Macklin jokes, so the fam giggled with delight when the Perd dude was casted as the news guy. Otherwise… this was a rough 100 minutes.

I live in LA and I don’t think I’ve never seen a more bland, generic, lifeless billboard.
It looked like a parody. Like a movie poster you’d see in another movie in the background.

A giant bomb, as expected

how can this have a budget of 60 million?
did all of it go to Chris Pratt sitting in a chair? really?? if you can make films like The Brutalist for 10 million, you can make dogshit like Mercy for much, much, less than that. Replace Chris Pratt with Eric Roberts and you’re sorted.

I’d this outgrosses The Bone Temple then cinema is dead.
