Guessing they thought WB would blink first with They Will Kill You

I guess they want to avoid screen losses to Mario the following week, but now they’re going up against way more movies and if they don’t come out on top in opening weekend, now they can lose theaters not just screens.
Honestly? Just move back to April 10th.

I think it’s because of They Will Kill You, releasing 3/27, which seems to have a very Ready or Not type of vibe to it.

Opening the same date as Hail Mary? Isn’t this going to be bad for Ready or Not?

Now going up against Project Hail Mary which is so weird on why Disney decided to move Ready Or Not 2 earlier instead of mid April and Late March which might given enough space for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on a Wednesday for April Fools Day

Good for Ready Or Not. But They Will Kill You basically just got First Omen’d coming hot off the heels of immaculate a while ago.

First movie to ever keep changing its release date to move up this early.

Considering Project Hail Mary will be 3 hours long, they must realize it will flop, thus placing it against it.
