I’m assuming everyone involved with marketing at Searchlight was fired during re-organization once the buyout went through.

Disney literally has no fucking idea on what to do with Searchlight let alone 20th Century Studios as a whole.

When Fastvold and Corbet get distributed by a much bigger studio with Disney, they end up getting even less awareness than with A24

  3. That’s a bummer. I saw it Friday and really loved it. The choreography was amazing and really liked the way they used the music

  4. It hasn’t played in a single theatre near me and I’m devastated… yeah I’ll watch on streaming ofc but I wanted to experience this in the theatre.

  5. A part of me thinks they would’ve been better off waiting for distro and releasing it this fall instead.

Right now if people wanna see Amanda, they’re gonna go to The Housemaid.

I thought it was spectacular but this has to be one of the worst rollouts for what could’ve been imo a huge awards contender

This ain’t terrible granted the zero award buzz, unique concept, and weather. I saw it last weekend and loved it. Gonna see it again this week but stayed in this weekend due to snow/cold.

saw it yesterday and there were 11 people in the theater. of course it doesn’t help that the weekend it finally goes wide is the same weekend a massive winter storm is stranding 70% of the country in their homes

  9. Saw it Saturday am. Can’t for the life of me figure iut what anyone liked about that movie. Nothing to latch onto.

Probably my least liked movie of 2025. Had been Honey Don’t or Alto Knights. This was worse than both.
