It won’t beat Ne Zha 2, but still being the highest-grossing Western animation movie of all time is no small feat.

Zootopia 2 (2025) is aiming to finish its global run with at least 400M more than the previous record holder from Disney Animation: Frozen II (2019) – 1.453B and at least 150M more than the previous record holder from Pixar Animation and Hollywood Animation: Inside Out 2 (2024) – 1.698B!
Ne Zha 2 still is King with ~2.26B!

Ne Zha 2 numbers are insane since most of the most was made from China alone with $2.1B although Zootopia 2 did really well with the help of China and Asian countries while other countries like Europe and Latin America hasn’t been huge which will determine for Zootopia 3 when confirmed
In the future depending on Ne Zha 3 announced in China probably around 2030 release, we could see surprisingly numbers like Frozen 3 that could do around Inside Out 2 / Zootopia 2 numbers depending on the performance in Europe that’s about to get a boast with the opening of Frozen land in Disneyland Paris while Asia still hasn’t been recovered for any interest for the Frozen brand. Shrek 5 is very possible although the brand isn’t that huge in several countries like in China and Asian countries. Super Mario Galaxy Movie coming this year might but doesn’t seem to have a chance to be as big as Z2 / IO2 did
Incredibles 3 in 2028 might although the overseas box office might not be as huge as its predecessor had in 2018 and in 2029, Coco 2 could have a chance to do massively bonker numbers then Inside Out 2 and Zootopia 2 did which could do massive record numbers in Latin America like Mexico where Asian Asian countries like China would still help for Coco and European countries has a shot to do as well
