Whether it increases or decreases from the first is to be seen. It can go both ways, the novelty of the first film is gone and there isn’t a massive gap between movies. But the first film is also a massive streaming hit and the Mario world is so easy to expand on. Any bets?

This looks really cool but it really seems like this movie doesn’t have a lot to do with Galaxy, which is a shame because those games have so many iconic locations and moments that would be able to carry their own movie. I wish they just made this into a World/Odyssey and saved Galaxy for the 3rd.
