My Estimation:
-WW Gross: $55M – $65M ($70M-$75M if Word of Mouth starts taking effect)
-DOM Gross: $28M – $32M ($33M – $36M if the film can bounce back after the storm, I doubt it would make this much without the storm though)
Bone Temple has suffered from a January release only 6 months after the divisive first film which has offput a lot of people from seeing this film, so much that it may not even make how much the first did in opening weekend. Pair this with a large snow storm hitting the U.S that’ll affect its numbers too, almost seems like everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong.

My estimation
Domestic: $25 M – $28 M – Next week the movie will be pulled out from at least 1000 theaters so grossing numbers will only get worse by next weekend
WW: $48 M – $52 M – which means Sony would be losing around $50/60 M with this film
This is my fav horror movie in several years, it’s such a shame it didn’t do better! Could see it becoming a cult classic on digital. I hope they can find a way to fund the third one but at least this has a very satisfying last act if they don’t.
I’m genuinely going to be upset if the next one gets cancelled. I’m very invested in the story
