I’m sad this one isn’t performing better. I thought it was really great! Ben looked cool visually, and the kills were fucking brutal and made me cringe at times. The whole thing had me really entertained, and had moments of dark humor/schlockiness, while still being genuinely intense.
I’m thinking a lot of horror movies are underperforming just because there’s so many coming out. Between Primate, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, Return to Silent Hill, Send Help, and Iron Lung, there’s a lot of horror content coming out atm.
