Frozen became the first animated film to reach $1.1 billion and $1.2 billion, Frozen 2 the first to reach $1.3 billion and $1.4 billion, Inside Out 2 the first to reach $1.5 billion and $1.6 billion, Zootopia 2 the first to reach $1.7 billion and probably $1.8 billion, so the next animated film to surpass it should reach $2 billion.
i like that every press release about this has to specify that it’s the highest grossing *hollywood* animated film of all time because Ne Zha 2 fucking obliterated everything last year
