Zootopia 2 passed The Lion King (2019), Jurassic World, and now Inside Out 2! Now it’s the ninth highest-grossing film overall, highest-grossing Hollywood/MPAA animated movie, and 2nd highest-grossing animated film overall, behind Ne Zha 2. I wished it had enough steam for $2 billion. I would love a Hollywood American animated film to pass that mark.

Is that enough to keep on track for 1.8B finish? I’m not sure. Maybe it could limp across, but I think it might finish under. Still pretty great though.

It looks like to finish around $1.8B-$1.85B range depending on its hold especially with Goat arriving in Mid February
