>In this witty, new breed of mystery, George (Hugh Jackman) is a shepherd who reads detective novels to his beloved sheep every night, assuming they can’t possibly understand. this looks… kinda fun? it’s got a really good release date too, being the first family flick of the summer is definitely gonna help it get a leg up before everything else starts pouring in. i can see this breaking out if it reviews are great

Could see it benefit from lack of direct competition until Toy Story 5 (Animal Farm is a bomb in the making and Mario will already be a month old).
For domestic, probably similar numbers to Peter Rabbit 2 or Lyle Lyle Crocodile

Jackman is going to have a real eclectic year.

Doesn’t look that bad. Great cast and I’m grateful there’s no potty humor, unlike a certain other talking animal trailer

This looks adorable! Should make Working Title, Sony and Amazon MGM quite a bit.

I can’t work out why the farmer is Australian, the sheep have various accents but it’s set in the UK.

>It’s a herder mystery, and everyone is a suspect. The Sheep Detectives arrives in theaters May 2026.
