The people involved in making these movies are absolutely on top of references, nods, paying homage, etc. Just another reason why I enjoy them

I loved how the entirety of the Tokyo section of the movie was crammed full of homages and references. Everything from the classic Akira slide to Shadow with a gun that he doesn’t need.
Still kinda annoyed that throughout the whole movie, Sonic doesn’t acknowledge shadow sounding like Keanu, since Speed exists in the series
way back in the day wasn’t there a bunch of Shadow/Matrix crossover videos on youtube? I seem to remember that scene where Neo fights a horde of Agent Smith’s around a flagpole being done except it was Shadow.. or maybe Mario or Sonic? idr
