      If it hits the same in overseas markets too, we may have a big hit in our hands.

      I said a while ago that this and DxW would play together kinda like Guardians of the Galaxy and TMNT from ten years…just functionally in reverse.

      It will take a hit next weekend but its pretty clear there’s a very strong amount of interest and good WOM to allow it to recover throughout August. Hopefully this isn’t another one that blueballs us before $200m though lmao

      If it holds well against DP and runs alongside it through August it could have a claim to 300m

      So, the window it should land in is *KotPotA* **($58.4M)** and *GxK* **($80M)**.

      *Apes* had Early Access previews like ***Twisters*** while *GodzillaxKong* had the benefit of a holiday weekend.

      This movie is really good and seems to be selling really well in the south

      I won’t deny I was pessimistic about this movie but I am happy it is doing good numbers. Theaters need every win they can get.
