Melissa Barrera posts about the first faculty encampment in protest of Israel’s genocide of Palestine. Faculty at the New School in Manhattan have launched the ‘Refaat Alareer Solidarity Encampment’. Alareer was a Palestinian academic & poet who was murdered by the IDF.

Well done to all them they’re brave, these encampments work! The one here in Dublin has led to the college diverting from funding Israel arms. Spain worked too.
