I know some people hated the twist in season one, but it made the show for me. Without it, Sugar would have been just another too perfect verging-on-superhero detective to me. Plus it was funny.
I probably won’t watch season two though because the surprise in season one made it for me.
really didn’t expect this to get a renewal so happy to get more sugar.

All i wanted from this show, was Collin Farrell as a noir/movie loving detective. I could’ve happily lived without the twist. That being said, I’m watching season 2

Im glad they seem to be going all in on the detective story again with a little bit of the other thing on the side
I loved season one but did not expect there to be more. Not sure how I feel about it. Are they going to fuck up such a good small story? Like so many other things I’m avoiding the trailer so if I do watch it will be unspoiled. Here’s hoping I guess.
Beyond excited to see how they continue to work in that crazy reveal into the narrative now.
This was such a chill, noir blast, and I’m happy it didn’t get canceled after just one season.
Loved the first season. Not watching the trailer, I’ll be there to watch the second season (once it’s all out so I can binge it).
