The Pitt is an amazing show. I’ve never been interested in hospital dramas before but couldn’t stop watching it.
Yeah The Pitt kinda blindsided me too. It feels way more like a character drama that happens to be in a hospital instead of the super cheesy “case of the week” stuff, which makes it so much easier to binge.
This is a pretty solid “TV has quietly been better than movies lately” lineup.
The Pitt, Shrinking, and Beef are all completely different kinds of stress, which makes the nominations feel less copy-paste than usual.

They need to stop inventing awards that nobody knows or cares about. Emmys, Grammys, and Oscars, and that’s it. Golden Globes used to be important, but now it’s just a publicity stunt for Penske Media.
