      As per the article:

      > “He kept the cast waiting, [which is] a power play. Keeping Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren and others waiting is career suicide, I would wager.”

      > If greenlit, season three is set to film from September, the source added, but Hardy’s on-set behavior has spooked producers. His fate is yet to be decided, despite earlier reports that he’d been fired from the show.

Charlize does not enjoy working with Mr. Hardy either and now you got these two heavy-hitters saying the same lol not a good look.

“Clashes with A-listers such as Brosnan and Mirren, however, do not help Hardy’s reputation for being infamously tricky to work with.”

TIL Pierce Brosnan is an A-lister.

I thought this dude took like a Zen approach to life or something. Also I don’t know anything about his life

That doesn’t sound like Tom Hardy at all.

Erp! I mean it totally does. That’s absolutely on brand.

I doubt he pulled this shit on Christian Bale when he played Bane. Bale would have beat his ass.

    7. I’ve enjoyed him as an actor but way too many stories about his behaviour on set. His reputation is now toxic and no-one is going to risk a multi million dollar project with him in it. This is the end of him as a A-lister or leading man imo.

    8. Hardy will be fine. He has lots of connections, is seriously talented, most likely runs his own production companies and his father is a great screen writer. Do I agree with his actions? No but lets not kid ourselves. Worse people are still acting. Looking at you Mr. Leto.

Come on dude, you’re not that important. You ain’t curing cancer. Do your job and act.

I am starting to wonder if it’s substance abuse causing him to be unreliable. Everyone is always very careful about not saying it even if it’s true, bc it can lead to him being uninsurable for films.

    11. I’ve yet to get the reasons this guy is so inconsiderate and yet keeps working

Hardy always gave me Oliver Reed energy. Hope he don’t follow the same path

I guess I’m still waking up, but it took me a moment to process this title, I was thinking that maybe the studio wanted to cut him out of appearing in the movie trailer, and he was demanding to be shown in it.

I like Tom Hardy as an actor and he seemed cool as a person.

Wish he wasn’t behaving like this, bummer.

Just here to say Tom Hardy has received too much praise for being the guy that does a silly voice for every role.

I will die on the hill that his performance in Revenant was trash. Making up an unintelligible dialect is not inspired acting.

Why would a successful entertainer do that? Surly they must know how much money is wasted by their actions. Most are Associate Producers they know how important time is on set. Why do that to your career?

He gave a comment several years ago about his “method”…he indicated that acting wasn’t just about his interaction with the camera and the director. He mentioned the interaction between him and the other actors. Something about creating off camera tension to inject authenticity.

I think that might have been what he was attempting here.

His character doesn’t bow to anyone . He gets his job done, but currently is under the thumb of the antagonist’s criminal enterprise.

Perhaps he was creating off screen tension between himself and the Brosnan /Mirren characters family dynamic?

Did he take it too far?
