These films should be right up my alley, but I just can’t get through them for some reason. I tried twice with the first one and gave up halfway through. Gave the second one a try and stopped after about 20 min. They just can’t hold my interest. And I’m someone who can watch all kinds of slow and silly movies.

Henry as Sherlock is actually one of the few times I’ve liked im in a movie, this and Man from UNCLE shows he should have done more light/comedic roles instead

Is it awful that I can suspend my disbelief for all kinds of unrealistic nonsense but a 21st century worked-out face ruins a period drama for me?

Hey so what’s that palm tree growing out of? And why are the left and right church doors entirely different?
What did they do with her neck? Photoshop fuckery
Netflix uses AI for its official promo?
I’m still not over them putting her in a set of long fake nails when these films supposedly take place in the Victorian era
