I think this was fine. Autograph hunters are typically quite entitled and don’t always understand personal space. They’re getting something for nothing and most of them are reselling their autographed items. Russell has seen a lot in his years as an actor and is just telling them up front how to behave if they want his time and autographs. Fair play to him.
